After you have successfully installed the uHook USB Disk Security. Restart the machine. From now on any unauthorized USB can not be used to copy files from your machine unless set in the policy, which is under your control. If you wish to register a usb device, just insert it and a prompt will come up. Enter the password you entered during installation for registration of usb devices and a small description for this device (for example if it belongs to accountant write Accountant’s USB). After you have entered the correct password, click proceed (as shown in the picture above), your USB will be registered and will go into the whitelist of uHook. when you reinsert the device it should be working fine and you can use it just like a normal usb device except that all the file copy activities will go to the report.
